Search Engine Optimisation – SEO
We design, build and optimise websites that achieve business goals as well as look fantastic. We can do the same for you as you wish. Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of improving the visibility of a website or a web page in search engines via the “natural” or un-paid (“organic” or “algorithmic”) search results. Other forms of search engine marketing (SEM) target paid listings. SEO is a technique which helps search engines find and rank your site higher than the millions of other sites in response to a search query. SEO thus helps you get traffic from search engines. We use a Two-Stages SEO Process and it doesn’t miss. Our process has evolved over the past two years as Google has tinkered with it’s formula , but our ability to put clients at the very top remains unchanged.
Stage 1 is about finding the right group of keywords to optimise for your business. Once you give us a ‘seed-list’ of keywords we use some very powerful SEO tools and our experience in keyword research and competitor analysis to select a shortlist of keywords (search terms) to target. We then give you a full SEO report, an SEO action plan and apply those findings to your website to make it ready for the Google race.
Stage 2 is about what happens ‘off’ your website. In short – link building! It’s not the over simplified process many would like it to be – but a highly strategic mix and finely balanced set of techniques employed every month, to convince Google that your website is the most relevant result for each keyword.
As an Internet marketing strategy, SEO considers how search engines work, what people search for, the actual search terms or keywords typed into search engines and which search engines are preferred by their targeted audience. Optimizing a website may involve editing its content and HTML and associated coding to both increase its relevance to specific keywords and to remove barriers to the indexing activities of search engines. Promoting a site to increase the number of backlinks, or inbound links, is another SEO tactic.
